Dr. Jonathan Williamson was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico where his family moved when he was just six years old. He attended Albuquerque Public Schools and graduated from Manzano High School in 1995. After two years of missionary service in northern Brazil, Dr. Williamson returned to the land of enchantment where he studied both Biology and Brazilian Portuguese at The University of New Mexico.

In 2003, Dr. Williamson was accepted to The College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University. While there, he served as the President of the Iowa Podiatric Medical Students Association and sat on the President's Board for the American Podiatric Medical Students Association. After receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Williamson completed a three-year surgical residency at Detroit Medical Center – Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. There, he was trained in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle trauma and reconstruction.

Dr. Williamson is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is one of only a few doctors in the state of New Mexico that is certified to perform total ankle replacement surgeries. He currently uses the Wright Medical Infinity and Inbone II implants for these procedures. He proudly serves as Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Presbyterian Hospitals.

Dr. Williamson is married with four children. His wife is originally from Bernalillo, New Mexico. They enjoy many outdoor activities and sports as well as just spending time as a family. Dr. Williamson is glad to be home and serving the people in the great state of New Mexico.
